What does it mean to be vertically integrated?
All our garments are 100% sourced and made in Mongolia. Here at Mandkhai our production is vertically integrated. This means that we can trace the fibers we use in our garments all the way back to the free-roaming goats. Read more about the goats and our cashmere sourcing here.
Processing Factory
Inside our processing factory the extra fine cashmere, which has been carefully hand brushed by nomadic herders, is seperated from coarser hairs and delicately spun into a wide range of yarns in different gauges after it has been dyed.
Our industry leading colour expersts have mastered the art of colour through years of experience in processing and dyeing of raw cashmere. Having our own colour lab makes us truly unique in todays fashion industry. Our specialists blend multiple shades and tones to achieve vibrant and fade proof coloured yarns. Knitting Factory
We continuously invest in the latest cutting-edge technology in knitwear production. We use Stoll and Shima Seiki knitting machines which are the two leading brands in computerized knitting.
